A herbaceous plant commonly found in South East Asia. Known as the fragrant plant, pandan leaves are not only used for flavoring to our favorite dishes and delicacies, but are woven using strips to make beautiful and durable baskets, mats and fashionable items.

Each pandan leaf, as long as two meters, are stripped to smaller widths and cleaned of spines for a smoother finish. Laid out in the sun to lighten color in preparation for dyeing to desired color. Once colored, strips are meticulously woven to produce beautiful mats and baskets.

To care for your pandan baskets, wipe with soft damp cloth or sponge. Air dry after. Dry brushing is also advicable for daily cleaning.

If your pandan baskets get wet, bring outdoors to dry.
